Our amazing Guest House is located in the heart of the Faroe Islands, which makes it an ideal location to explore the entire country during your stay.
We have made the Faroe Islands our home a few years ago. We have fallen in love with the breath taking views, local people and their hospitality, the culture and the Faroese inspiring nature that never stops to amaze us.
We are opening our door for you to experience our one of a kind log house in the Faroe Islands.
The house was built in the end of 2018.
It has a unique rustic style, as it is made almost completely out of wooden logs. Due to the use of special features and a natural structure of the wood, the house has an incredible atmosphere. Through the implementation of the latest technology and its special design, you will enjoy the thermo-regulated interiors, with ventilation and humidity control, to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
The house itself is located in the highest part of Gøtugjógv. This gives you an amazing opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views all day long. Whether during your morning coffee or at the evening supper, you will be amazed by the wonderful views and raw Nordic landscapes.
The house location makes it ideal for discovering the Faroe Islands. The capital - Tórshavn is 30 minutes’ drive, the airport is 60 minutes and the second largest city in the archipelago - Klaksvík is only 15 minutes away.
Most of the main tourist attractions can be reached within an hour drive. There are also a few local restaurants only 15 minutes by car and a small convenient store within a walking distance. However, if you prefer to rely on public transport, the bus stop is only 2 minutes on foot. The local beach in Syðrugøta is also within 10 min. walk.
There is a bunch of places in the Faroes to visit and discover. Come and see for yourself and you will surely not be disappointed.
